If you just let yourself get caught up in the stories, you will, at the very least, come away with an enormous respect for the film's daring and ambition. Does it work unbelievably well? I didn't think so, but some people did; many others, conversely, absolutely hated it.

I would put this film up there with A Clockwork Orange, in that it is a film you simply must see, if only for the experience of it all. Some people will love it, some people will hate it, but most people, I believe, will come away with it having made them think--about what, however, I am not entirely sure.
