Review of Cloud Atlas (2012) by Dan H — 11 Mar 2015
I wonder if people realize how rare it is for a film like this to get made. How many big-budget, R-rated art films make it to the big screen? The scope is enormous; the execution is brilliant; and the narrative is never compromised to make the film more marketable.
The cross-casting might take a little while to get used to, but it's not really an issue. This is the Wachowski's crowning achievement.
