Review of Cloud Atlas (2012) by George E — 25 Apr 2015

I'm sorry but I just did not like this movie and fail to see what the big deal about it is. A few of the segments (Namely the two that take place in the future) are worthwile but then there's the others whose plot seem overly basic and pretty bare bones.

The movie fails to really add up to anything either, like it's cool that they have the same actors playing multiple roles but it doesn't take full advantage of it to tell us anything new about the human condition, which seems to be what the movie set out to do in the first place.
