Review of Cloud Atlas (2012) by Larkfeast — 12 Oct 2014
A true film masterpiece. A beautifully written adaptation of the novel of the same name. Although there are differences to the novel, the film takes a different approach and links all the 6 mini-stories in a non-linear mosaic. This is art with a beautiful story behind it with many layers of meaning and symbolism.
The cast are all amazing. The best performances from Tom Hanks and Hugo Weaving that I've ever seen in any film.
The beautiful musical score is award winning and there is no question about why it is.
10/10. One of the greatest films ever made.
