The film adaptation of David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas is an absolutely perfect rendering of page-to-film. The book changed my life and the film brought that earth-shattering philosophy to flawless vision.
A committed performance from the cast and crew brought to life the most daring, ambitious, insightful, unbelievably ingenious work of literature onto the big screen. It is dense and requires a focal committment, but allow the story (stories) to take you in and you will leave the film exasperated but overcome with emotion and thought.
