Review of Closer (2014) by Saad U — 21 Oct 2010
Although the movie carelessly treats infidelity as a joke, this movie manages to evoke the emotions it seeks to evoke in its audience. One feels the betrayal, the envy, the lust, and the power struggle and struggles to understand which side is justified due to everyones moral ambiguity.
Ultimately however it leads you to an unpredictable downward spiral of sex and lust. In the end you side with no one which diminishes the motivation of the watcher.
