Review of Closer (2013) by Todd V — 05 Dec 2013
What a look at modern society! The conversations, dialogue, lust and cheating surely paint a picture of what the world is like today. I couldn't believe it! It's definitely a serious drama and my low rating comes from the unfortunate use of strong profanity and sexual dialogue. The characters depict the drama well, but it's a little too vulgar and serious for multiple viewings. Still, it's very current with our sad society.
Dan is a writer who wants to finish a novel, but in the meantime supports himself by writing obituaries. One day he chances upon Alice, a stripper, when he sees her get hit by a car.
