Closer is an exceptionally vivid portrayal of the most fundamental element of social interaction - mating. The story revolves around four people tangled in a web of intersecting aspirations toward personal happiness.
The characters are initially built on brilliant dialogue, but the true value of the movie lies in the nuances of body language, which become very clearly detectable once the characters have been properly introduced.
