This is a routine government cover up story which stretches the limits of credulity even for a Hollywood movie and its only value is in watching Eric Bana struggling with trying to sound British. If you want to see a really good example of this genre, the 1986 'Defence of the Realm' movie is far superior and stands up well even after 30 years.
