Review of Close My Eyes (1991) by Alex M — 13 Jul 2007
I'm rather angry because the last minute of the movie was bad on the dvd I was watching it on. So the last line I heard was something like "It has been an interesting summer".
The movie wasn't too bad, I didn't like how long it was. It seemed to drag on in some parts, like with the brother in his office or street interacting with various girls, one or two scenes with other girls would have been enough...
It was kind of neat to juxtapose the two guy's personalities, one hot-headed and the other calm, collected, and a severe case of ADD looking at every little aspect around him and analyzing it. Weird quirk to add to his personality. The scene where the two guys go to eat a picnic in a deserted area by the lake is rather amusing, "Is he going to kill me?".
I don't really understand the ending. Had the husband had known that the siblings were together all along, but didn't really seem to care all that much? Maybe because he knew it was just a fling. And then they all just walk off together in some field of grass. What. the. hell.
