Though the film features some beautiful special effects and well staged sequences, it's tough to get beyond the repetitive nature of the events and irritating to think that almost nothing about this movie has anything to do with the UFO phenomenon other than the title.
With that in mind, it emerges as a fabricated, sappy load of crap.
