Review of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) by Anastasia B — 27 Nov 2010
God, I love the cinematography in this film. I also love the opening sequence, Richard Dreyfuss, and everything else including Truffaut's French. The final sequence has haunted me since I was a child and ever since it holds a subliminal power over my subconscious.
It's one of those movies that when you watch you realise why Spielberg's work has been so much celebrated throughout the world.
