A science fiction classic. Honestly, the effects are dated but still good. I'm absolutely amazed that Spielberg could pull off special effects like this, especially when sci-fi contemporaries like Star Wars really didn't have good special effects originally.
A fun film to watch with a cool story and cast. The legendary scene with the musical broadcast between the humans and aliens is worth the viewing time alone (cue da-da-da-duh-duh theme lol).
