Simply put, it is a sci-fi masterpiece that has withstood the test of time. Great performances, sharp direction, and outstanding special effects. Last time I saw this, I think I was 4-5 years old, and it scared the crap outa me (seem to recall thing bout E.
T.). I may add in little blurbs here and there when I finally get around to seeing the Special Edition and Director's Cut.
