I had never seen this movie until tonight, and now I cannot possibly understand what all the hype is about. This movie was a certified snoozer. I wanted the aliens to kill everyone and end the movie early.
It never explains anything (like why the aliens abducted that lady's kid and those people from the past and then suddenly decided to give them back because some Frenchman played a 5-note song for them on his Casio).
There is so little character development that I really did not care about anyone. On top of all that the movie was hopelessly slow moving and sometimes silly.
