Doesn't really hold up... Is way too slow, if they cut all the translating, which doesn't really serve a purpose, it would flow much better. The effects are well done and feel unique, but the buildup just doesn't lead to anything big.
Maybe its because this genre has been so diluted, but the movie is very straightforward with a ton of buildup and not a great payoff.
