Close Encounters of the Third Kind is an enjoyable film with a very magical and beautiful ending, I just wish the rest of the movie was just as good. The plot and characters weren't as interesting and well developed as some of Spielberg's other films, which was a bit of a disappointment.
But overall the movie was still very good and the grand payoff of the ending is definitely worth it. John Williams score is magical and the special effects still hold up pretty good. Definitely give it a watch.
