Very sweet family Sci-Fi from Spielberg. Although not packed as light as ET, the film was spelled out very influential at the world "memorabilia" alien sci-fi films. Maybe not all people can enjoy this movie.
But here, I see the Spielberg trying to explore the elements of a philosophy of sci-fi movie, as it has done beautifully by Stanley Kubrick in "2001: A Space Odyssey", and the results are pretty good in my opinion!
