Review of Clockwise (1986) by Susan R — 06 Nov 2007
Perhaps it is because I am so often running late for things that this film and its central character, Brian Stimpson, will forever have a place in my heart. Clockwise actually quite cleverly illustrates how people can be entirely in their own worlds and yet share just the one time and place; with disasterous consequences.
Boom boom. Anyway if you, like me, are among the always-late but never too late to give up trying to get there group you'll understand the quote: "It's not the dispair, it's the hope I can't cope with".
