Review of Clockstoppers (2002) by Zack S — 10 Apr 2011
The plot was interesting enough for me to watch the movie. If only someone would be able to invent the age-defying machine for real. LOL I guess the main story was not really that original since it was all about being speedy.
I think Superman already did that in his films. Molecules and time games. What a lovely way of applying science in thought bubbles! I'm pretty much sure that all the science professors, geeks and nerds out there would rally up and make a gigantic picket line against whatever this movie conveyed, but then perhaps they're targeting kids instead.
The only thing that the producers of this film forgot was that the adults are the ones paying for the movie tickets. Unless they give the kiddies the hypertime watches to get the movie money. Oh well.
Just two stars from me because of the "hope" for an age-defying machine. Plus, my favorite Michael Biehn was in it. (Although, I really hope it was not him playing the villain!) Meh!
