Review of Cliffhanger (1993) by Jason D — 21 Apr 2008
A Sly Stallone favorite of mine about a heist gone wrong as a group of vicious baddies and their plane go down in the Rocky Mountains. As help arrives in the form of disgraced mountain climber Stallone and his bitter friend (the excellent Michael Rooker), they are taken hostage and forced to find all of the missing money, but soon, the baddies start getting taken out one by one.
There's plenty of action and lots of quirky dialog that borders hilarity, but the movie is fun. Loved it.
