Review of Cliffhanger (1993) by Paul C — 30 Mar 2010
Better than the standard action fare. The performances aren't so great (particularly John Lithgow, surprisingly), but it makes up for it with decent set pieces and breathtaking special effects.
P.s. The eagle eyed viewer will be rewarded with some bonus comedy in the opening rescue scene when Frank (Ralph Waite) is seen laughing his head off when Michael Rooker's girlfriend falls to her death. Sadist!
