Review of Clerks III (2022) by Jamess — 12 Dec 2022
No one will ever confuse Brian O'Halloran or Jeff Anderson with great actors, but damn, I never thought revisiting the Quick Stop and these characters would choke me up like it did. Kevin Smith comes full circle with, I imagine, his most personal film to date.
After suffering a "widowmaker" heart attack (as did Smith), Randall, with a new lease on life, decides to make a movie based on experiences at the Quick Stop. Basically, Clerks. It's a tad bit meta but besides the pop culture snarky comments, it's got a true heart.
