Review of Clerks II (2006) by Skyler I — 16 Jul 2011
Clerks does what it sets out to do, and does it well. What sets out to do is entertain fans of the original, and gain new ones. It's just as good as the original, and manages to be just as interesting and authentic as Clerks was over a decade ago.
The characters are back and even funnier than they were before. The lines are more quotable ("This tastes like piss 'n' flies, dont it?") and even the gross out humor works well. As far as sequels to decade old cult classic go, Clerks 2 is damn near perfect, and easily one of writer/director Kevin Smiths best Films.
