Clerks, According to Roger Ebert was a film he liked even more watching it for the second time.

I completely agree and that's what I really enjoy about Kevin Smith's movies, They grow on you.

Made on a shoe string budget of 28 grand, shot at the convienient store where Kevin worked and filmed only at night when it was closed, Clerks is a Tour-de-force of Independent Cinema.

The story follows the day in the life of Dante and Randal, two slackers who work in rundown convienient stores who through their day put up with random customers, attend and ruin a wakening, put up with obnoxious yet lovable pot dealing duo Jay and Silent Bob as well as discuss pointless banter such as whether or not the contractors deserved to die while rebuilding the second Death Star in "Return of the Jedi".

The dialgoue is pure Smith, everyone who seems to see his movies can instantly recognize that his brilliant vulgar humour is always fun to listen to.

Acting is brilliant considering this movie is made up from virtually unknown actors, it put them all on the map and paved Kevin Smith name in the concrete of today's Independent Genre.

Final Verdict: Not much really you can say it's a great movie that will only grow on you with age, whether you like this statement or not, More & more i'm finding Kevin Smith to be a Modern day John Hughes.
