One of the genuine great comedies of the 90s, Clerks is a funny, well acted, brilliantly scripted & superbly directed feature film covering a day in the lives of 2 clerks working at a market & video rental store & as well as the lives of their acquaintances.
With its idiosyncratic characters, hilarious moments & tragedies, homages & tributes to some all-time classics, & finally an inspiring thoughtful ending, Clerks is one of the best debuts by any director & a gem of a cult classic.
