Review of Clerks (1994) by John H — 03 Jun 2011
The point-and-shoot camerawork and uneven sound quality only add to the scrappy authenticity of Kevin Smith's debut. The day-in-a-life sccenario plays out like Cassavetes with a potty mouth, and the gags (the milk maids, the dead guy with a boner, almost everything Randall says) are screwball-smart.
