Review of Clerks (1994) by Nitin S — 03 Dec 2011
The first of Kevin Smith's movies set in the View Askewniverse is one of those 'about-everything-and-nothing' type stories which plays out like an extended R-rated episode of Seinfeld, which is to say it's quite hilarious - the Tarantino-esque dissection of Return of the Jedi, the seemingly mundane yet engaging girlfriend debate, the general debauchery - all makings of a deservedly cult film.
