Review of Clerks (1994) by Sorrel * — 24 Jun 2013
This is one of the best independent movies of all time. As a filmmajor this movie is inspiring as Kevin Smith did it with no budget, it was blatant that it was pretty much a student film but the writing and performances were so golden that it didn't really matter.
This movie is proof that content trumps everything, if the script is good and your actors are good, the viewer is going to more notice that and that'll make your movie successful. Also considering the movie itself was well made in a technical aspect.
Anyways, Clerks is a must see fot anyone, ESPECIALLY film students.
