Randal Graves(Jeff Anderson): "Oh, hey Caitlin, break his heart again this time, and I'll kill ya. Nothing personal.".

Caitlin Bree(Lisa Spoonhauer): "You are very protective of him, Randal. You always have been.".

Randal Graves(Jeff Anderson): "Territoriality. He was mine first.".

Caitlin Bree(Lisa Spoonhauer): "Oh, that was so cute.".

This movie starts off fairly ordinary and unimpressive-- much like it's main protagonist and the events were pretty mundane. Almost everything about this movie was pretty pointless up to the part where Randal, while he's seated on to top of the fridge, gives Dante advice about changing his life and pretty profound advice at that. It was probably the best dialogue in the film and the best scene in the whole movie, just a few lines that makes Clerks worth watching after all. Brian O'Halloran's Dante was the token lovable loser but Jeff Anderson's Randal was stole the show with his annoyingly brash yet charming ways. The acting was alright, the script (if there was one) was kind of good but the banter was epic: fast-paced, unique and somewhat thought-provoking. The movie was like a UFC fight-- a little brutal and crude but you just can't turn away from watching it. Overall, considering this was Kevin Smith's first venture into movie-making, I can honestly say, it wasn't half bad; especially being able to make a movie about nothing be so engagingly entertaining.
