Review of Clerks (1994) by Ian S — 06 Nov 2014
Shot in black and white for about $27,000, 'Clerks' is one of the better 'a day in the life' films and very important to 90s independent cinema, and the start of the career of writer/director/actor Kevin Smith.
It's a poorly acted, cleverly written, all natural, horribly looking movie, but considering the challenges of filming, these end up making it as great as it is and shouldn't shy anyone away from watching.
