Unfortunately, no film can ever capture the entire vastness of any Clancy novel (except for Red October, which was short enough to ALMOST do so). This one cuts it pretty close. I personally would have picked another actor besides Willem Dafoe as John Clark, but it works.
Excellent movie, and one of my personal favorites.
