Mediocre crime drama with a surprisingly excellent cast.
The plot is ok and the performances are solid, but it's slow and formulaic. It also has the weakest ending in any film for some time.
A bigger problem is that everything seems overly familiar - it feels like it wants to be a weird Serpico / CSI cross, but doesn't reach the quality of either of them.
