Vince Vaughn is delightfully psychotic, Joaquin Phoenix is remarkably naive and clueless, and Janeane Garofalo is her usual sarcastically, sharp tounged, smart-alec self... such a great movie on so many levels.
also worth noting is Phil Morris and his cheesy eye-brow raises and matter-of-fact line delivery. he plays such a "hard cop" role then you see him in his hotel room watching "Lassie".
