Review of Clay Pigeons (1998) by Timothy S — 02 Jun 2008
This is a decently solid film. The acting is decent. The story is decent. The characters are decent. Vince Vaughn is cool basically because he wasn't so full of himself when this film came out. Garofalo's character should have been given a larger part in the script seeing as how she's much more interesting than the main "talent" Joaquin Phoenix (who's still living in his dead brother's shadow, I don't give a fuck if he was Johnny Cash, he still gargles dogshit).
