Finally I have to admit that I enjoy Vince Vaughn in a movie. This is decently entertaining comedy thriller that resembles Fargo, but with a slightly more serious tone and probably a bit more low brow in terms of comedy.
Outside of Phoenix adding some subtle layers to his character, this film has mostly superficial characters. But I didn't care in this case. I enjoyed watching Clay's life go to shit just like Jerry Lundegaard's.
