Class of Nuke "Em High is another terrific 80's horror/comedy schlock from the good folks at Troma Entertainment. Much like Troma's other famous films like The Toxic Avenger or Poultrygeist, Class of Nuke 'Em High is filled to the brim with gross out gags, corny violence and gore, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
The film is about the drama of high school students who live their "normal" lives in the town of Tromaville, right next to the local Nuclear Plant where care and concern isn't one of their top priorities.
When nuclear waste starts popping up in and around the school, things become complicated for the students. While some turn into deranged punks called the Cretins, others are smoking nuclear waste-based weed that messes with their heads and bodies.
Soon, punks wind up dead, bullying increases, and a strange miscarried baby mutant starts growing big, not to mention a big appetite as well. Yes, this film is overly wacky and hilarious corny, but it's all in good fun.
Highly recommended for Troma fans and fans of corny 80's horror. Great cult classic.
