Review of Clash of the Titans (2010) by Peter N — 29 Jul 2012

There was a lot of negative backlash upon the release of this film, but I just have one question for all the haters out there. What were you expecting? Of course the one-liners are almost laughable and the acting is wooden and uninspired, but do you really watch Clash of the Titans for its richness of dialogue? I didn't think so.

The battle sequences are fast paced and exciting and the visual effects are convincing in an era when a film like this lives or dies by its use of CGI. Definitely not the most intelligent film of the year, but who cares? It does its job by merely being entertaining.
