Review of Clash of the Titans (2010) by Kevin O — 26 May 2013
This is one of the few rare movies that would have benefited from being longer. The first 10 minutes or so had so much thrown at you that it was kind of hard to keep track of who the people were, or to care when something particularly nasty would happen to them.
After that though the movie finally hits its stride and the next hour and 40 minutes blows right by.Other than Sam Worthington forgetting if his character was using an accent or not a few times, the cast was solid. The visuals were fantastic and I will probably be going back to see it in 3D or IMAX.
I never saw the original and I''m not sure I should now. It would have a hard time comparing with this.
