I thought this was a great remake. Not many people can see it for what it is worth. Just because it is a remake does not mean it is supposed to be like the original. I have both versions and I love both versions.
You can't compare the two because you might as well compare the two Spiderman movies or the Superman movies. Each one is different in their own way.
