Review of Clash of the Titans (1981) by Maymay A — 06 Jul 2010
It failed to impress me. I find the new one better in every aspect, even the plot. I would also like to point out the stupidest climax ever. That climax which I'm speaking of was not hilarious, it was very irritating and frustrating.
As for the Perseus role, Worthington is a lot more charming than this version's Harry Hamlin. Yet, this version's Andromeda is more beautiful than the new one. The effects were understandably but ridiculously laughable.
However, the two versions would never top the way I saw the myth in my mind when I read it. Hopefully, there would be a mythological film that would be better than the way I imagine them.
