Review of Clash of the Titans (1981) by Nikolai E — 13 Jul 2010
It's nonsense of course, but it's eminently entertaining, well-produced nonsense made by people who believe in it entirely. My favorite aspect of the film is the arbitrary nature of the Gods' interference and favor, which is only barely hinted at by the caracters.
Pure, unabashed escapism on a grand scale, and for that alone it's worthy of its reputation.
