Review of Clash of the Titans (1981) by Melanie D — 01 Mar 2013

Okay, it looks awful by today's standards, but that gives the film it's charm. The cast is actually pretty good and I think I had to watch this a few times throughout my time in school and it never got old.

If you can get over the cheesy effects, and that lame robot Owl, there is a lot of fun. The Medusa scene is great. I also loved that Zeus just turning his little figures into monsters if he wants: like all us humans have no free will.

Of course it isn't as great looking as the remake, but it is a lot of fun for what they did when effects were still pretty basic.
