Review of Clash of the Titans (1981) by Gavin E — 01 Apr 2010

I was the tender age of 9 in 1981 when I first saw this film, and it was on a VHS of my Aunty and Uncle's, as we did not yet have a video player. I was hooked right from the opening titles, and must have watched it over and over again the whole weekend I was there.

Although we now have CG and special effects galore I think that sometimes these take over and the script/story suffers as a result. This original film still delights me, and I now get to enjoy it all over again with my own children, who despite being spoilt rotten with todays offerings, still love a good old stop motion yarn.
