Not the best flick that Ray Harryhausen ever made (for my money that one goes to Jason And The Argonauts) but it is a technical marvel. Some of his animations are painfully beautiful. Alas, for me, they just don't have the spark of some of his earlier work.
A poor script doesn't really help matters any.
