Review of Clash of the Titans (1981) by Sleez B — 01 Jun 2012
1981's Clash of Titans is one of the most laughable films I have ever seen with the cheap, cheesy, and crappy special effects. Yet, the characters, performances, and storytelling is no doubt wonderful that you will forgive the visuals.
Harry Hamlin stars as Perseus, a half mortal/half god who goes on a quest to save a city and a beautiful girl from destruction from the Kraken. With interference from Zeus, Perseus receives a lot of help that enables him to conquer an impossible task that would have killed a mortal man.
I really enjoyed Clash of Titans for its cheese and where else are you gonna see a cheap pegasus, a naked woman, cool old man, and awesome owl that is like R2-D2.
