Review of Claire's Knee (1970) by Jerome C — 28 Mar 2008
DVD - one of eric rohmerâ??s six moral tale films where heâ?? displays his masterful use of dialogue as an instrument of narrative. here we have a thirtysomething man questionably fulfilling his somewhat perverted quest of stealing an adolescent's innocence while using his friends narrative devices as an excuse.
this film is beautifully shot and uses the creation of a screenplay for the narrative arc.
