Stephen Chow (Jau Sing-Chee) is just an incredible talent; this is his "E.T." movie.
Where to begin about Jau Sing-Chee? His Comedy: whacked & bizarre, but actually FUNNY; Parody: He loves to re-work things like James Bond, E.T., kung-fu formulae, romance formulae; Action: see Kung Fu Hustler, geez; Pathos: in every one of his wild comedies, he MAGICALLY turns out a moment or two of tear-welling pity, just MOVING you. His movies are not only hilarious and satisfying, but just really amazing.... How does he do it?
