Stephen Chow is probably the funniest man to come from Asia in terms of pure humor and comedic delivery. CJ7 has a pretty weak story but it has moments that warm your heart and make you laugh. It reminded me a lot of Gremlins.
It's a funny movie but it's not like Chow's earlier works.
