Review of Civic Duty (2006) by Randix P — 04 May 2007

This movie was intense...If you watch the show 24 than you'll like this movie. Its about a businessman who gets fired from his job for threatening his boss and his boss before that. This man has issues and lashes out on people. Its after 9/11 and he is suspicious of a Islamic neighbour who moves in next door to him and his wife. The whole city is on watch of terrorist activity he breaks into his house and holds him hostage demanding what his intentions are in his country. He gets caught by the FBI who want to help him he then ends up in a mental hospital. He then sees on the news that several people died from acid poisoning from licking ATM envelopes which the neighbour had stacked in his closet along with the acid but he claimed it was for his science masters. The ending is the real shocker...

I give it two thumbs up.
